The Veterinary Association of India (VAI) is a premier national body dedicated to representing, empowering, and supporting veterinarians across the country. Formed under the aegis of the AgroVet Research & Development Foundation (ARDF) — an ISO 9001:2015 certified, non-profit Section 8 organization — VAI operates with a strong commitment to professional excellence, ethical standards, and the welfare of animals and society. We are certified and registered with recognized national authorities, ensuring credibility, transparency, and compliance with the highest governance standards. Our parent organization (ARDF) is duly registered with:
  • NITI Aayog (Govt. of India)
  • Income Tax Department under 80G & 12A for tax exemptions and donor benefits
  • Udyam Registration (Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India)
  • e-Anudaan (Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India)
  • CSR-1 Certification (Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India) – enabling us to receive and execute CSR-funded projects for AgroVet/ animal health, veterinary education, and welfare initiatives.
  • Government e-Marketplace (GeM) as an authorized vendor/partner
